LIMIT FOR E-LEARNING HOURS IN MANDATORY TEACHING REQUIREMENTS
The standard ARCP requirements in 2019-20 limited logging of e-learning to a maximum of 6 hours as part of a foundation doctor’s mandatory teaching attendance. This maximum has been removed by the UKFPO for the 2020-21 training year. You are however still expected to attend a range of teaching opportunities throughout the training year. Therefore the Peninsula Foundation School Committee recently agreed that a local cap of between 10 and 12 hours of e-learning was an appropriate maximum number of hours against the NON Core Teaching requirement. This will of course be reviewed as the year and ongoing Pandemic progresses.
