Tea Break Talk is a peer-led local wellbeing initiative started by the Junior Doctors Committee 2018/19 at UHP NHS Trust, with the aim to support our new junior doctors.

It is a safe place to discuss and raise any work issues or concerns over tea and cake, with different bi-monthly themes, relevant case-studies and helpful practical tips for clinical practice.

It is currently run by volunteer SHOs, and sessions are provided after F1 Teaching on selected Tuesdays.

Our work over the past year has been presented in the regional South West Clinical Leadership conference 2019, and accepted for poster presentation in the upcoming National Leaders in Healthcare and BMA Trainee Doctor Representatives conferences 2019.

Tea Break Talks at UHP will run on selective dates after the F1 teaching on Tuesday afternoons.  To find out when they are running please contact either:

Dr Phil Hefford or Kate Talmage
