Royal Colleges of Surgeons Course. Delivered over two days, through a series of hands-on sessions, you will develop a range of core surgical skills and techniques.

BMA IMG Coffee Mornings
Suitable For: All international medical graduates (IMGs).
Join the BMA for coffee and cake to discuss their employment and career advice, immigration support, finances and pensions, visas, contact checking, wellbeing support, exams, learning and development and much more.

Clinical Skills Training Day
Suitable For: Locally employed doctors (LEDs) at SHO or StR Lower level. Any LEDs new to the NHS.
This course is specifically aimed at LEDs to practice core clinical skills in a supported environment with the hospitals Clinical Skills team.

GMC Workshops
Suitable For: New or more experienced international medical graduates (IMG).
Four interactive workshops led the GMC’s Regional Liaison Advisers. Focusing on different ethical topics and how to deal with issues that arise on a day-to-day basis

Horus E-Portfolio Demonstrations
Suitable For: Any locally employed doctors new to using Horus e-portfolio.
This session is a walk-through demonstration of the Horus E-Portfolio system - specifically aimed at Trust Grade Drs using the platform.

IMG Introductory Sessions
Suitable For: New or more experienced international medical graduates (IMG).
This supplementary induction session is designed to support IMGs transition into the Trust from an overseas healthcare system.

Medical Examiner Service Training
Suitable For: New or more experienced international medical graduates (IMG).
This interactive session is for IMGs to learn about the work of the Medical Examiner Service and is an opportunity to ask questions/raise any problems you've encountered.

Requesting Imaging Training
Suitable For: New or more experienced international medical graduates (IMG).
An interactive session for IMGs to demonstrate how to request imaging investigations using iCM, including how to check for previous imaging.
