Foundation Supervisors Information and Updates
Becoming a Foundation Educational Supervisor:
We are always looking for dedicated supervisors for Foundation doctors working across the Trust. If you are already an accredited Educational Supervisor, with GMC Trainer status, and want to start supervising Resident Doctors on the Foundation Training Programme, please get in touch with the Foundation Team to enquire or get more information about what this involves.
If you are not already an accredited supervisor but are interested in becoming one then you must complete the NHSe training modules. There are 5 modules to complete:

1-3 are for all (ES or CS) Once completed you can start clinically supervising trainees

4-5 are for anyone wishing to take on the role as Educational Supervision
UHP now run in house, face to face training at various times throughout the year. Please click here for information, to register for upcoming dates, or to join our waiting list for the in-house training days delivered by the PGME team.
Alternatively you can attend the online training facilitated by NHSE directly. To enrol you need to set up an account on Maxcourse, find a suitable date, and then email: FacultyDevelopment.SW@hee.nhs.uk with your booking request.
